The 2001 VAFC Season was as follows:
VAFC played its home and away games against the Seattle Cats in what was known as the North West Pacific Australian Football League (NWPAFL).
It was anticipated that the teams would play each other two times but in reality the season was far more successful than this; VAFC played four away games and three home games. The Grand Final was played in Vancouver and became the seventh official game of the season;
